At South Jersey Community Church, we believe that God ordained men to be the leaders of their homes and leaders in their churches and communities. That’s why we’re committed to help men be all they can be – for the Lord, for their wives and children, and for their world. When men are at their best, they are loving God, loving their wife, being a Godly example to their kids and striving to leave this world a better place than when they got here. It’s called “Serving Jesus” and it’s part of our purpose as a church.

We start by off pairing guys to do some one-on -one training. We pair one guy who has been around the block a couple times in the faith with a guy who is fairly new at this faith stuff. The result is a faith that grows in knowledge and in practice. You might say that end up with a rubber meets the road kind of faith. In fact, before you know it, you’ll be the guy who’s been around the block a couple of times in the faith, being paired with someone who’s fairly new to the faith. It’s the same model that the Lord Jesus used when he chose the 12. He built faith into their lives and eleven of those guys changed the world! (Judas was a knuckle head and didn’t influence anyone.)

Then, as time permits, (because we’re all over committed already), we do guy stuff together. We’ll do fun stuff and service stuff. Either way, we’re working together and building relationships that will last a lifetime. The Bible says: “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Join us for some faith sharpening.
